Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj answered on Tuesday to President Hashim Thaci who accused Haradinaj for his close ties with the Kosovo Serb controversial politician Milan Radoicic, who is wanted by Kosovo authorities suspected of being involved in killing of Kosovo Serb leader, Oliver Ivanovic.

Haradinaj answering journalists’ questions said that it is President Hashim Thaci who received in his office Milan Radoicic, who is identified by media as the real power-broker in northern part of Kosovo, controlled by Serbs. “Once I held a joint meeting with President Thaci and Radoicic in President’s Office. [Thaci] had a two-hour meeting [with Radoicic] in his office,” Haradinaj said.

The Prime Minister said that he has no communication whatsoever with Milan Radoicic, since Kosovo Police issued an arrest warrant. Radoicic, who is deputy head of Srpska List, a political entity backed by Belgrade which officially is coalition partner in Haradinaj’s Government, is suspected of killing the Kosovo Serb political leader, Oliver Ivanovic, who was shot dead in front of his political party’s office in Mitrovica North on 16 January 2018. “I have worked with Radoicic in his capacity as Srpska List representative. Radoicic is fugitive to justice, I have no communication with him whatsoever,” Haradinaj said noting however that he is not aware of Thaci’s accusations of cooperating with Radoicic.

Haradinaj and Thaci continue trading accusations after disagreements on suspending 100 percent tax on Serbian goods. Haradinaj is saying the tax will be suspended only after Serbia recognises Kosovo, whereas Thaci called on the Government to listen the US advice and rescind the tax.
