39. Ass.Dr. Besnik Bicaj, Dr. sci.Med. – 1966 Kirurg i përgjithshëm- Laparoskopist- Endoskopist,
mjek, kirurg, anatomist, magjistër i shkencave, asistent. Lindi më 12 janar 1966 në Pejë. Shkollën fillore e kreu në vendlindje dhe Prishtinë ku mbaroi edhe shkollën e mesme. Diplomoi në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë në Prishtinë më 1993. Si student i dalluar ka marrë pjesë në Kongresin e studentëve të mjekësisë në Tesliq në vitin 1990 ku ka publikuar dy punime. Zgjidhet asistent i ri për lëndën e Anatomisë në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë të Universitetit të Prishtinës. Më 1997 regjistron studimet pasdiplomike në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë në Prishtinë dhe në vitin 2003 i pranohet teza e magjistraturës me titull: “Raporti kortiko-medullar i eshtrave metakarpalë te popullata e Kosovës” të cilën e mbron në vitin 2007 në FMP. Specializon në lëmin e Kirurgjisë së përgjithshme me 2 maj 2002 në Prishtinë. Në vitin 2002 vijon trajnimin tremujor për Endoskopinë intervente dhe ERCP në SGH Group Jeedah në Arabinë Saudite.
Punon asistent në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë.
Regjistron doktoratën në Tiranë më 03.07.2010. Asistent i Anatomisë në Universitetin e Prishtinës, Fakulteti i Mjekësisë nga 12.06.1995-15.01.2015. Asistent i Kirurgjisë në Universitetin e Prishtinës, Fakulteti i Mjekësisë nga 15.01.2015 dhe më tutje.
